We built this utility to quickly re-encode movie files with specific settings that enhance their use in performance analysis software workflows. While this is helpful in reducing file size and keeping quality high, it can hinder the seek-ability characteristics of the movie file, particularly smooth rewinding. Transcoding these files using a shorter key frame interval can greatly increase the seek-ability characteristics of the movie file. Super Transcoder allows you to set the keyframe interval to increase performance in this area.
